What This Role Entails
The Brand & Events Assistant handles the physical look and feel of the Zanaco brand across Zambia. This is a highly active field role, not just a desk job.
You will manage the brand’s appearance across all 65 national branches. You will also organize high-profile corporate functions, product launches, and community initiatives. Core Job Responsibilities
The bank divides this role into three major operational areas:
1. Brand Deployment & Branch Harmonisation
- Oversee brand appearance across all 65 branches nationwide.
- Conduct regular brand audits to ensure compliance with corporate identity rules.
- Support branch refurbishment projects and local brand upgrades.
- Coordinate with creative agencies and printing vendors to deliver high-quality assets.
- Guide branch managers on visual standards and customer experience goals.
2. Events Management & On-Site Execution
- Plan and run corporate ceremonies, product launches, and internal functions.
- Manage event logistics including venue sourcing, budgeting, and catering.
- Lead on-site branding setup and manage external event vendors.
- Prepare clear production schedules and post-event evaluation reports.
3. Marketing Reporting & Administration
- Consolidate data to write weekly marketing and project updates.
- Prepare performance summaries for executive and board-level reports.
- Track project budgets and vendor deliverables using structured dashboards.
- Maintain organized databases for brand inventory and corporate assets.
Self-Qualification: Do You Match the Profile?

- School Certificate: Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 Credits, including English and Mathematics.
- Higher Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or Design.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of active work in brand management, events, or marketing operations.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in banking, telecommunications, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is a distinct advantage.
- Travel Capacity: A valid driver’s license is highly desirable because this role requires extensive national travel.
