Selected government teams will travel to Seoul to engage in practical workshops, address data and algorithmic bottlenecks, and build technically grounded implementation roadmaps. Following the bootcamp, participating teams will have the opportunity to receive technical feedback and follow-up support to advance their initiatives.

Core Program Phases

The program is structured into three clear phases:

• Phase 1: Call for Proposals: Open application window for government teams addressing public sector challenges.
• Phase 2: Seoul Bootcamp (7–11 December 2026): Five days of site visits, practitioner exchanges, hands-on coding exercises, and roadmap development with World Bank and Korean experts.
• Phase 3: Follow-Up Support: Post-bootcamp technical feedback and potential follow-up support based on roadmap viability.

• Eligible Institutions: Government bodies in low- and middle-income countries developing, piloting, or deploying AI in public financial management, procurement, tax, civil service, civic tech, or citizen services.
• Two-Person Team Nomination: Applications must nominate a two-person team comprising:
  1. A Policy Leader with decision-making authority.
  2. A Technical Practitioner directly involved in system implementation.
• Project Readiness: Must demonstrate a clearly defined public sector challenge with a realistic AI solution already under development, pilot, or deployment.
• Language Proficiency: Team members must be comfortable taking part in English-language technical discussions. (Note: Simultaneous Korean-English interpretation will be provided).
