Overview / What This Opportunity Entails
The IGNITE Digital Economy Incubator and Accelerator Programme is designed to equip high-potential Zambian digital startups with technical support, business development tools, and investment readiness.
As part of the Business Growth and Innovation Phase, BongoHive is recruiting seasoned practitioners, investors, business advisors, and executive coaches to deliver specialized curriculum masterclasses or facilitate bi-weekly group coaching sessions for participating founders.
Roles & Core Responsibilities
Applicants can apply for one or both of the following facilitator roles:
1. Curriculum Facilitators
Design and deliver interactive masterclasses combining practical tools, case studies, founder assignments, pitch-back presentations, and direct feedback. Core topics include:
- Building a Team for Scale & Business Model Mapping
- Revenue Models, Unit Economics & Financial Projections
- Market Sizing & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Fundraising, Startup Valuation & Cap Table Management
- Exit Strategies, Governance & Operational Compliance
2. Group Coaching Facilitators
Provide bi-weekly coaching to cohorts of participating startups. Coaches will guide founders as they implement program learnings, overcome business hurdles, maintain milestone accountability, and make data-driven growth decisions.
Self-Qualification: Do You Match the Profile?
BongoHive welcomes applications from individual professionals, investors, and advisory firms with expertise in:
- Startup Expertise: Hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, venture building, startup development, sales, marketing, or tech enterprise development.
- Financial & Investment Mastery: Deep understanding of investment readiness, fundraising, venture capital, and financial modeling.
- Governance & Strategy: Expertise in corporate governance, compliance, business growth, and executive coaching.
- Bonus Advantage: Knowledge of circular economy principles, ESG standards, sustainability, or impact-driven enterprises.
