What This Opportunity Entails

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization advancing children’s rights and equality for girls. Working in Zambia since 1996, its core programs focus on inclusive education, youth employment, reproductive health, early childhood development, and child protection.

To support its community programs across Lusaka, Central, Luapula, and Eastern Provinces, Plan International Zambia is updating its official vendor register for an initial period of two years.

1. Goods

  • IT & Office Tech: IT hardware and equipment [G/PIZ/1], Office equipment and furniture [G/PIZ/2], Office stationery [G/PIZ/7].
  • Agriculture & Livestock: Agriculture/farming inputs [G/PIZ/5], Animal/chicken/fish feed [G/PIZ/8], Livestock (goats, pigs, chickens) [G/PIZ/9], Livestock vaccines and medicines [G/PIZ/10], Hammermills [G/PIZ/17].

  • Drilling & Water: Borehole drilling works [W/PIZ/1].

  • Consultancy & Media: Team building and employee training [S/PIZ/1], Baseline, endline, and midline surveys [S/PIZ/2], Branding, publishing, and printing [S/PIZ/3], Videography and documentary production [S/PIZ/4].

Self-Qualification: Mandatory Compliance Checklist

Ensure your business folder contains all required documentation before applying:

  • Company Information: A clear Company Profile showing your physical address, active phone numbers, and valid business email.
  • Financial Standing: Six months of bank statements or recent financial accounts (audited if available).
  • Legal Status: Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration with Form III showing shareholding structure.
  • Tax & Procurement Registrations: ZPPA supplier registration certificate, ZRA registration certificate, and a valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate.
  • Track Record: Minimum of three traceable, reputable trade references from past or current clients.
  • Specialized Certificates (Where Applicable):
    • Borehole Drilling [W/PIZ/1]: Requires a valid WARMA Certificate.
    • Construction Works [W/PIZ/2]: Requires a valid NCC Certificate (Minimum Grade 4B).
    • IT Services [G/PIZ/1]: Requires accreditation proof as support centers/solution providers for brands like Microsoft, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, or Fortinet.
